London Art Run

Now this is a novel idea, if you’ve ever wanted to combine art and running and live in London this is the group for you. London Art Run combines fitness and culture with the group’s official launch run of 3.38 miles to some of London’s most famous galleries. At no charge, you can join the group for a run along the river followed by a relaxing cup of tea in the cafe at the Tate Modern. Route:
1. Starting at Pimlico Tube Station
2. Run 0.2 miles to Tate Britain, run up the stairs, cool down through by walking through the galleries
3. Run along Embankment up to the Houses of Parliament, along St. James Park and around Pall Mall to the ICA (about a mile)
4. Head over to the National Gallery for some fancy pictures and stretches
5. Run back along Embankment to the Tate Modern where we climb the stairs, galleries and finish with a group stretch at the bottom of the ramp
6. Food & drinks in the Tate Modern Cafe.
